This file is the LAN driver for Canon IJ Network. With the IJ printer, you can print from Canon IJ network connected through the system.

Carefully

In the range where the Firewall software is operating, such as the detection of the printer using LAN communications are blocked, then setup will not complete.
Preventive action: Disable the Firewall settings, or closing the Firewall software, then, do the installation in any case, first remove the network from the Internet.
When using the IJ network devices under the 64-bit version of Windows Vista, the following message may be displayed in the setup: a new place cannot be created. Preventive action: Cancel setup once, then repeat the installation after you restart the computer.

Installation instructions

Download/installation steps
Click the link, select [Save], specify and then click [Save] to download the file. Memo: If you select [Run] (or [Open]) instead of [Save], data will be automatically installed after the archive is saved.
Download the files to be stored in a place specified in the self-extracting form (.exe format).
Double-click the downloaded EXE file to decompress it; then installation will start automatically.

Для Windows утилита входит в пакет драйвера MP или рекомендуемый производителем комплект ПО для каждой модели принтера и устанавливается автоматически.

Запустить программу можно через кнопку Пуск Windows, выбрав в программах сначала раздел с утилитами Canon. Или же в меню Quick Menu (Solution Menu), в разделе инструкций и параметров.

Программу можно удалить, принтер все равно будет печатать и сканировать, однако станет невозможно отобразить его сетевые настройки. Подробная инструкция о работе утилиты здесь. Network Tool позволяет настроить IP-адрес и другие параметры проводной или беспроводной сети.
