How to install Canon LBP 2900 printer driver

Method 1: Install Canon LBP2900 Driver by using its driver pack

Steps:

1. Unplug the printer’s USB cable from the computer.
2. Download Canon lbp2900 driver from the above download section. Then double-click on the downloaded file.
3. Click on yes on in the ‘user account control’ prompt.
4. After clicking on ‘yes’, it will start extracting the driver. Let it be finished.
5. The driver files have been extracted from the same location. Open that folder (LBP2900_R150_V330_W64_uk_EN_2).
6. Now, you’ll get two more folders there. Double-click on x64 / x86 folder. If you have downloaded the driver for 32bit, then go to the x86 folder. If you have downloaded the driver for 64bit, then open the x64 folder.
7. In x64 folder, you’ll setup.exe file, double-click on it.
8. Click on Yes to to allow setup.exe to run.
9. The installation has started now. Follow the on-screen instructions. Click on Next.
10. Click on Yes to agree its term and conditions.
11. Select “Install with USB connection” and click on Next.
12. Now the installer is reminding you to make sure your computer’s firewall is not blocking this installation process. If so, then allow the blocking issue from the firewall. Click on Yes.
13. Confirm once more by clicking on Yes.
14. Now, it is asking you to plug the printer into the computer. So plug your printer’s USB cable into the computer’s USB port.
    Note: Don’t plug the printer into the computer until this prompts. If this happens to you mistakenly then start over from the beginning.
15. Follow the rest of the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
16. That’s it. click on Exit. Your printer will be installed after the USB cable is plugged-in to the computer. If you face any problems while downloading and installing it then report to us here.
